NIC South Carolina also goes by the name SC.gov because of its partnership with the State of South Carolina, and its involvement in the design and development of the state's official web portal, which can be found online at SC.gov. SC.gov constitutes a collaborative, public-private partnership between the State of South Carolina and NIC South Carolina.
